This simple light and perfectly sweet cake comes together so quick.
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/3 cup butter (just melted)
- 4 eggs
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
Method:
- Preheat oven to 165c.
- Grease a loaf pan with parchment paper.
- Add the flour and baking powder to a bowl and mix together well.
- Add all of the remaining ingredients and mix for just a couple of minutes until smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the centre springs back when touched and a wooden toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean (40-45 minutes).
- Turn out onto a wire cooling rack to cool completely.
- Frost your cake with our whipped honey butter.
Enjoy with a cup of coffee or tea.
